Josh Vandervest: Best resort

Best place to stay hands down!

The resort has the best UP cabins I have stayed in and everything is very comfortable and roomy.

Bob is a great manager and very accommodating to his guests. 10/10 will be back in a few weeks.

Eric and Carolyn Fischer: Thank You

Just a short note to say thank you for the great accommodations and hospitality.  Even though our stay was short, it was wonderful finding a neat, clean and comfortable room waiting for us when we arrived.  All the little personal touches that you provide did not go unnoticed.  Thank you and we are looking forward to seeing you during next years fishing season.

Tamra Hulburt : Our wonderful stay

This place was so amazing! The scenery was beautiful with a wood surrounding. There is a trail to walk to the lake and Bob is great! Very pet friendly! Easy access to everything, to include the mystery light! Will definitely stay again if I'm back in the area. Just pay attention because it is not easily seen from the road but there is a big sign by the entrance. It was a good price, too! Thanks again for everything. The Hulburts

Johnny Allen: Best Place to Stay

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area!  The cabins are great and a wonderful value.  The cabins and grounds are very clean and inviting. I've stayed there for the past four years during the annual grouse hunting trip.  The restaurants are close by and also the Casino up the road is a great place to to grab breakfast on the way to the hunt.  Bob is a very accommodating host and will assist when you have a problem.  Last year Bob saved my hunting trip after my brakes went out by arranging for a loaner truck while my brake lines were replaced.  Bob makes you feel like you have returned to stay with a friend.  Truly a restful place.

Judith N. Melicher: Summer 2015 visit to Pineaire

I wasn't even staying at The Pineaire Resort yet and the host and owner was helping me get information from the internet. He had welcomed me two summers ago to fill my empty water jugs with his delicious cold, clear water. This year he did the same when I would drive by on my way to nearby Bond Falls. After spending a small fortune for a cabin on the Eagle River, I still wasn't ready to return to Milwaukee and Bob let me have one of the nicest cabins, "The Streamwood" for three glorious days. To sum it up, my experience was sheer heaven. All the cabins are pristine and tended to better than I keep my own house. There is an endless supply of nature and 24/7 serenity. The owner Bob is obliging and concerned for your comfort. You can't put a price tag on nature's abundance all around you and the Pineaire rates are very reasonable. I plan to return as many years as possible and make new memories. The fact that he allows dogs, you think right away it'll be an additional charge for your pet, but it isn't. I can't say enough about my three days in Bob's slice of heaven. Ten stars in my book and believe me I've stayed at some "Pets Allowed" places that were pretty lame. If you are lucky enough to stay here, you are in for a real treat. Sleep better, breathe better and feel better about life and get hooked on Michigan -- I sure did!  I’m a very satisfied and returning customer............ Judy from Milwaukee and her dog "Foxy!"

Peggy Gerrits: Enjoyed the visit

We were lucky to stay at the Pine Aire last weekend. Our quaint little cabin was clean and cozy and Bob, the owner, went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Ice machine and old fashioned board games in the lodge were just a couple of the amenities we took advantage of. Such an enjoyable time and we plan to visit again soon!

Jeff Munsch: Excellent place to stay

My brother recommended the Pineaire to me and said it would be a great place to stay for our ATV trip.  Well, he wasn't kidding!!  Bob was a great host and the cabins for an up north experience were awesome.  Our cabin had a gas grill, a fire pit, outside table and chairs, ice machine, wood for the fire, couldn't ask for more for the price.

Thanks Bob, see you next year for sure!!!

Jim Velin: All you will ever need

If you are looking for a stay in rustic cabins that are kept very clean and surrounded by lakes and are very fairly priced, then you have just found it. You won't be disappointed. Great place for singles or families.

Scott and Reva Elias: Great Place

We found this place just by surfing the internet and so very glad we did.  Very reasonable prices and each cabin and room is decorated just wonderful.  Out in the country yet close enough to town if you need anything.  And the best part is the fishing in the area is fantastic.  We have been back as often as we can with our busy schedules and absolutely love the quiet, relaxing atmosphere.  Little gem that is for sure!!!

sheryl king: Best up north home away from home

The pineaire is one of the best places to stay in northern wi. The owner Bob is very friendly and always available. Well behaved pets are always welcome which is huge cause it is so hard to find a place to stay where you can bring your dog. The rooms are always clean and couldn't be priced anymore reasonable. In the winter the snowmobiling trails are right out your door and in the summer there is a beautiful walking trail that leads to a wonderful lake! Each cabin has a small fridge, microwave, cable TV and free wifi. I almost don't want to post cause I hate when Bob is booked when I want to stay. If you want the Ritz then this is not for you but if you want casual comfort and down home hospitality then this is your place. I also wanted to say that the type of other costumers I meet whenever I stay are usually nice easygoing people. I highly recommend the pineaire!

Tonda Lowell: Will be staying again!

Just got back from a wonderful stay at the PineAire! The cabin was so clean I was actually barefoot!! Brought bottled water but the drinking water was superb. Lots of yard games for the kids (big and little!) and just a short hike to swimming, fishing and boating. VERY nice stay - will be staying again!

Scott Pfeifer: : Next best thing to owning a cabin

The best kept secret in Northwoods lodging. We have stayed there several times over the past few years. The owner (Bob) has the place really whipped into shape and it's obvious he takes a lot of pride in his property. Lodge amenities at a motel price. It's the next best thing to owning a cabin myself UP North.

R. St. Cloud: Very convenient

Up for a snomo trek recently, and couldn't have picked a better place. Access to the trails right off the property was very convenient. We will be seeing you again soon.

Radar Watkins: Our last hoorah

We stayed at The Pineaire in March, for one day and two nights 12-13. We came up for our last hoorah, what a great time! We felt so at home and the cabin was very well kept and very reasonably priced. All of our needs were more than met. Bob (the owner) even helped us pull our broken snowmobile up on our trailer. We were more than pleased with our stay and we will most definitely be back.

Your friends,

Radar and Shawn

Dave White: Could not be any happier

I gravitate towards National Forest ares in summer. In 2013 I stayed at the Pineaire's "Schaumburg" cabin (living area, bedroom, & one bathroom) during the months of June and July. I could not have been any happier anywhere else with the accommodations! Nearby are the Ottawa National Forest, the Nicolet National Forest, and the Sylvania Wilderness. My dog, Zeldi, and I like to hike. With the Pineaire as our base camp we progressed through 258 miles along sundry trails, some within walking distance of the cabin. Bob could not have been a nicer host. About once a week he would do a quick "spruce up" of the Schaumburg while we were out on a hike, and he would make it a point on occasion to ask whether anything was needed in the way of linens, towels, etc. After my stay, I now consider the Schaumburg cabin my "Michigan Summer Home". (And ... by the way ... the rental rate was extremely reasonable!)

Kurt Gorski and Linda Sundby: Very enjoyable stay

Unexpected stay at the   "Barrington" cabin for one night on our way farther up North.  Very clean and well kept with a lot of charm.  Enjoyed a restful and enjoyable stay with a long walk on some of their trails with my dog who was welcomed.  Reasonably priced and very gracious host.  Hope to have a planned stay in the future.  Thank you.

Mel Haskell: Who could ask for anything more up North?

U-Haul truck had a blowout.  U-Haul arranged overnight stay at Pine Aire. Nice, clean, spacious.  Bob was so accomodating!  A charming place and a charming host. The "Barrington" was a great retreat from our flat tire adventure.
